Festival Description

With much the same programme and selection as the Carthage Festival (its sister festival), this is another chance to catch performances both local and international, in all manner of performing arts. Hammamet, on the north-east point of Tunisia is blessed with golden beaches and a picturesque old town with a fort and medina surrounded by ramparts. Mainly catering to the tourist trade, many locals are also fishermen and you may see their brightly painted boats setting off every morning to catch fish for your supper.

Festival Dates July 7 - August 18, 2009
