| Festival Description | The Monastir Fine Arts Association organizes the Monastir International Plastic Arts Festival to celebrate the arts around the world. Artists involved in the festival are from many countries including Russia, Germany, Serbia, Libya, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. The festival program includes painting exhibitions, traditional workshops, musical evenings, and dance and folklore spectacles. In addition, there are excursions to historical monuments in Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, Hammamet and Mahdia. The Festival will present special awards for artists with the best workshop creations. Renowned international artists have participanted in the Monastir International Plastic Arts Festival including Mohamed Al Nasiri (Iraq), Esperanza Romero (Spanish), and Massimo Pompei (Italian). |
