| Festival Description | The Lucerne Blues Festival was awarded “Keeping the Blues Alive 2007” presented by Blues Foundation. Since 1995 the Festival has done just that: Each year the Festival begins with a free concert at the beautiful Hotel Schweizerhof in Lucerne. The Grand Casino Lucerne is the venue for the main body of the Festival and there will be an entry fee. In 2006 the Festival inaugurated the popular Blues Support Stage where up-and-coming bands will have the opportunity to perform in front of a gracious audience. |
