| Festival Description | Centre x Centre, formerly known as Rwanda Theatre Festival takes place in Kigali, Rwanda and Kampala, Uganda. In Kigali the events take place at the ISHYO Art Centre in Kigali and in Kampala at the National Cultural Centre. The programming is based on the message of Arts and Peace. The roots of the programming are based in the Rwandan Genocide and the use of performing arts to record, process, to make historic and critique the genocide to enable healing.
