Festival Description

Jacob’s Ladder Folk Festival is a unique musical and social event for lovers of all aspects of folk music from Bluegrass to World music, from Irish jigs to Country Rock, from Blues to Renaissance. We invite you to join us in a weekend of great music, fun activities and relaxation for the whole family in the beautiful setting of Nof Ginosar on Lake Kinneret (also known as Sea Of Galilee). The region of Mehoz HaTzafon is the Northern region of Israel. The organizers of this festival also produce the Jacob’s Ladder Winter Weekend that is held in December. For more information visit:

Festival Story:

Israel’s Jacob’s Ladder Festival presents traditional and contemporary folk, bluegrass, blues and world music. The beautiful venue on the shores of The Sea Of Galilee guarantees an exciting, rain free outdoor event for the main festival in May, while the smaller festival in December is held indoors in an intimate atmosphere. Singers and musicians are welcomed, as are music lovers of all faiths and peoples.

  • Nof Ginosar on The Sea Of Galilee, Israel
Getting there:
  • The festival takes place inside Nof Ginosar Hotel, on Lake Kinneret, just south of Kibbutz Ginosar. It is located on Route 90, approximately 10 kilometers north of Tiberias.  It is also accessable via the Golani Junction. In this case, at the junction, take route 65 north for 12 kilometers, then turn eastwards on Route 807 to join Route 90 just south of the entrance to the Village of Migdal. Turn left (northwards) and continue for about 3 kilometers to the entrance of Nof Ginosar.
