Festival Description

Following World War II Okinawa's young people became attracted to American culture and created a new genre of music called "Okinawanrock". The festival aims to continue the development of Okinawanrock. The organizers invite foreign rock bands and prominent Japanese bands, while at the same time they welcome amateur bands and other genres music. Peaceful Love Rock Festival began in 1983.
