| Festival Description | The Contemporary American Theater Festival has been dedicated to producing and developing new American theater since 1990. The centerpiece of CATF’s commitment to new work is an annual repertory festival of five new plays by American playwrights, most often world premieres or second or third productions. CATF is located in the historic and beautiful town of Shepherdstown, West Virginia, just 90 minutes from Washington, DC and Baltimore. CATF is in residence on the campus of Shepherd University. |
