|Country and Region||United States — Washington|
|Type of Festival||Music|
|Location of Festival||Ritzville, Washington USA|
The annual Ritzville Blues Festival took place in historic downtown Ritzville, Washington. The blues festival featured a main stage line-up and several satellite venues within the festival area. Previous editions of the festival featured Tinsley Ellis, T. Broussard and the Zydeko Steppers, The Randy Oxford Band and Becki Sue & Her Big Rockin’ Daddies.
The Ritzville Blues Festival featured a stellar line-up of regional, national and international blues acts. Over 25 bands played at six different venues including an outdoor stage located on the streets of Ritzville. The downtown location made the festival unique for an outdoor event. Festival goers roamed the streets and chose from many different acts playing in different locations. Featuring the entire range of blues—from traditional southern blues, to boogie woogie, and Cajun zydeco—there is something for everyone. The last festival took place in 2011. Currently there are no plans in place for future festivals due to the downturn of the economy. Keep checking back for a possible rekindling of the festival...
