| Festival Description | The Drum Cafe Peace Festival and Conference is a collaborative initiative organized by Talking drums of Africa with Kenyan artistic and cultural organizations and non-governmental entities, The festival/conference will serve to open communications among participants in a mutually respectful atmosphere. Kenya’s long and complex history and the many diverse cultures are being brought together to a central venue to bring an end poverty, unemployment, and misunderstandings with the aim of healing through the arts. Performances in dance, music and theatre will take place as well as workshops and talks and discussions. |
