| Festival Description | This free-of-charge Festival is supported by small and medium-sized charitable gifts and donations from foundations, businesses and corporations as well as City of Hartford and State of Connecticut grants. The Festival is also generously supported by donations from individual jazz lovers throughout the region. The GHJF has been designed to expose and educate the ever-growing audiences and to celebrate America’s only true art form, jazz, by presenting over 20 hours of music performed by international, regional and locally acclaimed artists. |
