Festival Description | Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival features another exciting, varied and innovative bill at the festival whose reputation as Scotland’s premier independent family friendly music event is firmly established. The festival now offers over 100 acts over a wide range of genres and spread over six stages. Besides what promises to be another wide-ranging bill of rock, indie, Celtic, world, blues and country music, this year’s festival features a new theatre tent which will house an increased performing arts element. Set in the beautiful Highland surroundings of Belladrum Estate, the festival atmosphere provides a mellow, family friendly event—sometimes referred to as the mini Glastonbury of the North. Belladrum offers plenty of interest aside from the music, including an array of entertainment for children. These attractions include street theatre, burlesque, poetry, cabaret, cinema, dance, alternative therapies, stalls, food and drink. Visit Loch Ness in June—The organizers at Belladrum Estate also produce Rock Ness. For more information visit: |
