| Festival Description | The festival is a uniquely Scottish event that features some of the biggest names in piping. The best in Scottish and International piping talent arrives to perform in outdoor spaces and venues throughout Glasgow City Centre. In addition to festival concerts there are also workshops and ‘come and try sessions’ for beginners to get everyone involved in the Piping fun. There will be a variety of performers from around the world showcasing the best in Scottish and International Piping Traditions and also contemporary bands highlighting the great way in which piping is still relevant in this modern age. It lasts all week and there are many different events including the new extended family events! |
