| Festival Description | Feis Bharraigh was begun in 1981, to promote, encourage, foster and develop the practice and study of the Gaidhlig language, literature, music, drama and culture in the Islands of Barra and Vatersay. A week-long festival of traditional music and dance on the Isle of Barra. Takes place end of July and has since changed its name to "Barrafest - Live at the Edge". |
