Festival Description

The Ardhowen, which opened in 1986, offers a year-round programme of professional drama, classical music, opera, ballet, contemporary dance, jazz, blues, variety, comedy, country music, puppets, mime, children's events, traditional Irish music and dance, ethnic arts and lectures. Its programme also includes a wide variety of community-based and amateur events such as plays, concerts, charity events and school performances.
