Festival Description | What took place for the first time in the evening of September 19, 1992, with an audience of 300 on the old steamboat "Stadt Luzern", has become a leading international music festival with 100,000 visitors over nine days. The ambience around Lake Lucerne with the Open-Air Pavilion, the Lucerne Culture and Convention Center and The Club at the Schweizerhof Hotel makes the Blue Balls Festival unique. The festival presents a total of 100 shows, with international Blues, Jazz, Soul, Funk, World Music, Rock and Pop acts of the first order as well as photography exhibits and films dedicated to music. |
