Festival Description

Since 1967, the Tibor Varga International Violin Competition has taken place annually, whithout any interruption. From the beginning, the Tibor Varga International Violin Competition, which is considered as one of the most important contests of the genre, has acquired world-wide renown. Hundreds of candidates from all over the world have participated. Since 1976, the Tibor Varga International Violin Competition has been a member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions (WFIMC).
