| Festival Description | Enjoy concerts and recitals featuring international artists. Guitar enthusiasists can also look forward to three full days of seminars and workshops on guitar performance conducted by special guest speakers from around the world. At the 2005 festival the International Guitar Competition was initiated providing the opportunity for participants to win US $5,000 and a handcrafted guitar by Antonia Aparicio. |

Competition 2011:
- For the first time, All FEMALE GUITARISTS coming to the 9th International Guitar Festival (Singapore) & 5th International Guitar Competition from 13-19 June 2011.
- The festival can be divided into 3 categories:
5 Concerts by International Female Guitarists
3 Full Days Seminars
International Competition (No set piece, No age limit) - 1st prize — one specially and personally handcrafted guitar by Antonio Aparicio (priceless) and one Masaki Sakurai Maestro RF Guitar (worth more than S$16,000); plus Cash US$3,000; 1 concert in Singapore; Trophy, Certificates, Strings, etc.
