| Festival Description | The Doha Song Festival’s theme in 2008 was “Al Lailah Al Kabirah” (The Big Night). The program of Arabic and Egyptian singers included 33 singers from throughout the Arab World at the Sheraton Hotel and Resort in Doha. The participants include Nancy Ajram (Lebanon), Kathem Al Saher (Iraq), Angham (Egypt), Muhammad Abdoh (Saudi Arabia). Talal Salameh (Saudi Arabia), Fadel Shaker (Lebanon), Riham Abed Al Hakim (Egypt). Singers who will also be performing are Shireen Abed Al Wahab, Ahmad Adawyeh, Hasan Al Asmar, Iman Al Baher Darweesh, and for the second time Hakim, Baha Sotlan, Hussein Al Jismi, and Hani Shaker. |
