| Festival Description | Featuring popular bands playing a wide range of jazz, this family fun weekend commences on Friday night with scratch bands. Saturday's activities start with the street parade (at 10.00am), which is then followed at midday by 12 hours of great music. On Sunday the Combined Churches Jazz Service precedes another 12 hours of programmed music in various venues from midday. The festival's finale is on Monday with the ever-popular 'Picnic in the Park' featuring jazz in the beautiful natural amphitheatre. This is a community event raising funds for the development committee's Aged Care Hostel. |
