Festival Description

The Vestfold International Festival is Norway’s only festival that covers an entire county. The festival promotes the region’s history and attractions through music in different genres—baroque, classical, jazz and world music. The festival is a meeting place for Norwegian and international artists. A feature of this festival is the informal agenda where the entire county is used as the festival arena, including the jagged, rocky slopes along the coast and the inland waterfalls.
