The International Visual Theatre Festival presented by the Agder Theatre is staged every second year in October. Its principal aim is to present brilliant international and Norwegian visual theatre and to improve and foster interest in puppet and visual theatre as an art form in Norway. In keeping with the festival’s main theme, there are also seminars, presentations, exhibitions, street theatre and parades. The festival includes plays for small children, adolescents and adults and some of these tour the two Agder counties during the festival period.
