The Northern Lights Festival offers music of high artistic quality at the time when the sun reappears for the first time since November. The history of artists who have participated in the festival include outstanding musicians of various genres such as contemporary, symphonic, sacred, choral, chamber orchestra, song recitals, musical theatre, ethnic folk, experimental jazz and multimedia.

In 2007, the festival celebrates it’s 20th anniversary, therefore, the celebration itself will be the “theme” this year. Such an occasion gives the organizers the opportunity both to look back and evaluate their achievements as well as taking a glimpse into the future and give some hints about where Northern Lights Festival is heading.
