Festival Description

Established in 1990 the ULTIMA Oslo Contemporary Music Festival is Norway's largest contemporary music festival. It grew out of the Nordlyd Festival, which was arranged annually in Oslo from 1976. This festival highlights the best of Norwegian and International chamber music. The program features a mix of well-known classical and contemporary works, and a few surprises are thrown in for good measure. Concert venues various sites around Oslo.
