The Nordland Music Festival hosts most of its 70 events in the city of Bodø, but events also take place in other parts of Nordland County. The programme offers concerts within many musical genres, including classical, jazz, rock and folk music, and features both national and international artists. The festival also produces opera and musical theatre. There are also church concerts, theatre performances, arrangements for children and young people, open-air concerts, art exhibitions, seminars and lectures.
