| Festival Description | Music Factory is an annual festival of contemporary music which takes place in Bergen at the same time as the Bergen International Festival. Music Factory was established in 1985 as an independent foundation and since 1987 has presented approximately 10-15 concerts per year, including dance performances, electronic music events and new productions of music theatre. The festival aims to provide opportunities for new and young talents in the field of music composition. Since 1997 it has hosted a masterclass in composition. |
