Festival Description | The many venues in Paihia, Russell and Haruru Falls host over 150 hours of quality jazz and blues during the three-day event. There are more than 50 acts featured. Street performances in the towns of Kawakawa, Paihia and Russell each morning add to the flavour of the festival.Every year the Bay of Islands comes alive with the sounds of smooth jazz and sultry blues, as musicians gather from all over New Zealand for the annual Bay of Islands Jazz and Blues Festival. |

Tickets:
- Entry badges cost $40 for the three days, and are limited to 2500. A badge includes a program, access to all venues during the weekend and shuttle buses between the venues at Paihia, Waitangi and Haruru Falls.

3½ hours drive from Auckland via Opua Car Ferry.Alternatively via the fully sealed Old Russell Road following the scenic coastline (20km after Whangarei turn left to Oakura). - By Plane
Nearest airports are Whangarei, a one hour drive south of Russell; or Kerikeri 40 minutes to the north. Rental cars are available at both airports and there is a transfer coach service from Kerikeri to Paihia.
