| Festival Description | In an effort to increase the cultural development in Mexico’s Southeast and to decentralize art and culture in general throughout Mexico, the City of Carmen Theatre Festival was established in 2001. In recent years, the annual Festival has invited performers from Spain and Brazil to present theatrical works throughout the city of Carmen, along with local actors and performers. |
