| Festival Description | Adelaide Fringe Inc. presents an internationally renowned, annual, open-access, three week independent arts Fringe festival for artists to present their work and audiences to engage and interact with the arts. Adelaide Fringe is Australia’s biggest arts festival and is open to any and all artists who wish to participate. With music, dance, theatre, comedy, visual arts, film, writing, cabaret, digital arts and more, there really is something for everyone. Adelaide Fringe is Australia’s biggest festival offering a massive selection of shows during the days and nights. With over 500 cabaret, comedy, dance, theatre, music, and visual arts events, artists squeeze shows into every nook and cranny around town creating a wonderful collection of weird and eccentric venues. Like its Edinburgh cousin the Fringe completely takes over the entire city and Adelaide’s balmy summer nights keep venues and bars busy into the small hours with artists and their audiences. |
