| Festival Description | The Kijani Kenya International Music Festival presents this classical music festival featuring visiting musicians. This special festival is held to benefit the Kijani Kenya Trust, a charitable trust working to improve HIV care and education in Africa, as well as supporting conservation of natural resources to create a better future for the continent. The festival brings together some of the world’s finest and most diverse musical talents using some of Africa’s most dramatic natural and historic backdrops to add a unique flavour to the production. Classical, opera and more. The 2008 Festival has been postponed due to the crisis Kenya is currently experiencing. |
