Festival Description

International Meeting of Free Theaters and Szaszsz festival, started in 1991, has become one of the most prestigious international theatre festivals in Hungary. Year after year it features companies established by free artists whose way of life includes theatrical and workshop training, but excludes the so-called professional, state-owned or private theatre institutions.
