ARENA - the international week of young theatre. Groups from all over the world come together in Erlangen for five days to perform, watch and experience new and interesting theatre. Dance theatre, performances, installations, street theatre - everything is possible!
Internationality and enthusiasm create the special ARENA-festival atmosphere. Innovative productions which play with theatrical borders are the basis for controversial discussions between audience, jury and artists as well as among the groups. As you can see, communication is one of the main aspects of the festival. Central meeting point for everyone is the Festivalcafé behind the theatre of Erlangen.
