jandj_duo British rocker Justin Adams and virtuoso West African riti player Juldeh Camara are an amazing cross-continental collaboration, as you can hear on their recently released album “Tell No Lies”. You can also see them at the Montreal Jazz Festival on July 10.

Quraishi’s Explosive Violins

pasted-graphic Conceptual artists Ibrahim Quraishi is presenting a mini version of the performance installation ‘Islamic Violins’ at the CBK Dordrecht, The Netherlands on June 26th. The piece, like much of Quraishi’s work deals with politically charged topics, and in this case the piece is charged with small explosives.

Ibrahim in Germany
